Do you want to prevent people like me or that other shady looking guy from looking at and changing certain aspects of your Facebook profile?

Facebook recently added some security features that allow us to access a secured connection to Facebook thus, making it harder for hackers to get to your information.

Follow these steps to lock down Facebook from over the air eavesdroppers.

Step 1:

In the upper right hand of your Facebook page, click Account then click Account Settings (I hope you enjoy my silly profile picture)

Step 2:

A little more than half way down, you will see “Account Security” click on change to the right.

Step 3:

Put a tick on the option for

Secure browsing (https)

Step 4:

Click “Save”

From now on Facebook should show up as https://www.facebook.com instead of http://www.facebook.com
